Over the school holidays, I was looking at a picture advertising a colonial village experience. In the picture was a family doing the Laundry. You can picture it: a big tub, a washing board, a rope hanging behind where clothes are pinned. I found myself overwhelmed for my sisters from a past generation. It also put things in perspective. Some families bask in that first hot day of november, knowing that as the day reaches up into the 30’s that it heralds the soon to begin scorching, sublime, summer. Have you ever wondered about Home Schooling? My husband and I thought for quite a while that we would home school our kids.
