SCHOOL HOLIDAY INSPIRATION
I thought I would try to consolidate your search and list some things here that might be worth considering these school holidays.
Not everything is open and back to normal, but slowly we are seeing more things open for you and your family to enjoy both in and around the Blue Mountains!
Exploring Outdoors
Search here for many child friendly bush walks, including maps for you to try.

Gardens and Outdoor Adventure that are Open
Many of these sites need to be booked for time ticketed entry in order to keep to restrictions so check before turning up.
Aquatic Centres (including some outdoor pools opening)
Scenic World– be sure to book tickets to the Dinosaur Valley tour!
High and Wild Mountains Adventures
Mayfield Gardens in Oberon– Summer Festival is on now and its worth the drive
Horse Riding: check out these sites for their offerings
Hawkesbury Valley Equestrian Centre,
Museums- Blue Mountains and Sydney
And if you feel like a bit of a day trip, there are some interesting exhibitions for kids at these Sydney Museums:
Museum of Sydney– be sure to book tickets for the new Dinosaur exhibition
Australian National Maritime Museum

Not local to the Blue Mountains, but always worth a day trip.

Remember to be Kind to yourself. Our kids do not need a full program of activities, and our blue mountains backyards are full of sticks and stones to create magic with.
